What is platelet rich plasma?

Platelet Rich Plasma, or PRP is blood plasma with concentrated platelets. These bioactive proteins initiate healing in bone, joints, discs, tendons & ligaments. Regeneration & repair, promote development of new blood vessels, & stimulate wound healing process.

Platelets Contain Growth Factors?

Platelets contain potent growth factors necessary to begin repair & regeneration at the injury site. Growth factors derived from platelets initiate healing, bone regeneration, promote development of new blood vessels, & stimulate the healing process.

How does PRP therapy work?

In PRP therapy a small amount of blood is taken from you. The blood is then placed in a centrifuge. The centrifuge spins & produces the PRP & takes less than 15 minutes to increase the platelet concentration  & growth factors up to 500%. When PRP is injected into the damaged area it stimulates the healing process.

What are the benefits?

You can see a significant improvement in symptoms with in a few & it may eliminate the need for more treatments like: long term medication or surgery & you can notice a remarkable return of function to the treated site.

What can be treated?

PRP injections can be performed all over the body to help in effectively treating the healing process. The possibilities are endless in the fact that you are using your own platelet concentrated blood to help your body in its natural healing process.
